  • The passenger is held firmly in place by three safety straps
  • Six wheels allow the attendant to move the passenger over level surfaces quickly and easily
    Stairway descent requires little operator strength – a 90lb attendant can easily evacuate a 200lb passenger
  • During Descent, a hydraulic governor limits the speed
  • A fail-safe braking system is always engaged and is released by the attendant during descent – this allows the attendant to stop the CD7 on the stairway should the passenger need attending or if an obstruction needs to be cleared from the stairs
